Villas in Siena Area

The stay at the villa was fabulous! It was a real highlight of the trip. Cathy and her husband were brilliant hosts and provided lots of information for us to make our stay comfortable. The location was perfect – right in a gorgeous little town and within easy access of the villages around Tuscany. It was a great property and we were far away enough from the house without needed to worry about being noisy! The villa was stocked with everything we needed and lots of attention obviously went into what was provided – a home away from home. The property was great also with the fruit orchard which we had access to and the pool overlooking the spectacular scenery (unfortunately we only had one day that was hot enough to use the pool though!). All in all, everyone had a great time and we will definitely recommend this to anyone travelling to Tuscany. Thanks for all of your help with the booking and hope to be in contact with the next trip we go on!

Villa Oliveto is a five bedroom villa situated in a country location on the edge of the Tuscan village of Castelmuzio. It has been restored in keeping with traditional Tuscan materials and has terracotta floors and chestnut beamed ceilings. This makes it a comfortable home filled with Tuscan charm.

The villa is set on the edge of a small village, which has a number of local shops including a supermarket and a children's' play park. The village is made up of pretty stone houses and little alleyways and there are beautiful panoramic views over the surrounding countryside.

On the ground floor of the villa there is a very spacious dining room with beamed ceiling. There are two arched windows to the garden. To one side is a covered patio with a large table and chairs and mobile BBQ for 'al fresco' dining. Off the dining room is a well equipped kitchen with a large fridge, microwave, gas hob and oven.

There are three bedrooms on the ground floor as well - One double, a spacious double four poster room and a twin bedroom. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and access to the garden.

The first floor is accessed by an outside staircase located at the side of the villa. (This is a tradition in Tuscan country homes). There is a spacious lounge with access to a patio which provides lovely views over the countryside. There are a further two bedrooms on the first floor, one twin bedroom with access to a bathroom off the lounge area and the other a double.

The garden, which is set in an olive grove, has a beautiful natural feel to it and has breathtaking views stretching for miles. It has a very large infinity pool which is fenced off and has a child proof gate. There are outdoor areas for dining as well as parking as well and a laundry room.
